"This is it. This is what I love about weightlifting: it never turns out the way you wanted. You are never perfect. But you keep trying. There is this constant flow of thought, these ideas that pop up on what to do next, on how to improve. You end up always preparing for the future. It is an endless train of innovation, that has only one direction: forward. These last few months have been tough for me, mentally as well as physically, and it showed on the result. But when times are tough, those moments on the platform remind you of why you do it, why you go through all of it: because you love weightlifting.
On Friday ,100 and 121 was enough for 3 bronze medals at my last U23 European championship: I am happy but not satisfied. Let's keep moving forward. Off to the Worlds ! Huge thanks to Tom Goegebuer, Jean-Paul Ferrari, Bernard Janssens, #Adeps, #Begold and all the people I met on the way. You make this journey very special."
